We had a Crazy weekend this week! I visited with a friend of mine from college(sort of)...Who has a VERY cute little girl almost the same age as our nephew judah...We spent the day and went out to lunch and talked and played...Sophia...my friend Cathy's daughter TERRORIZED our cat though...It was pretty funny...Saturday was Living Studios first open house!!!What is Living Studios some of you may be asking. It is the non profit scott and I are currently very involved in..It is in the start up phase right now but what it will be is a community arts center predominantly reaching the covington community...Which is very poor and underprivledged. We hope to communicate God's love by reclaming the Arts! We will have classes in music, dance and fine arts and also have a gallery space...Scott and I are on the Board of Directors and I am teaching the first class right now at the elementary school across the street from the space. We hope to open the doors Spring of 2006...THis weekend we had an open house as part of an arts event in covington...we really got the word out and it was A LOT of fun. And last but certainly not least we got an unexpected visit from Scott's Aunt and Uncle. It was very touching when Aunt Debtold us Uncle Larry had asked her what she wanted for her birtday and her response was,"to go see Scott!" That is great! We had fun hearing stories about Scott's dad and how crazy he was in his younger days! We hope to go visit them in Indiana very soon! Here is a little photo journal of the weekend!
