hey friends-haven't blogged in a while...Scott is out golfing with our friend rich today so i thought i would catch us all up...we are doing alrighty...excited to go home for Thanksgiving...I haven't really spent ANY extended time at home since last thanksgiving so it will be good to just hang out for a while. I recently got an e-mail from a friend from high school who i haven't talked to in years. I started explaining to Scott that we were really GREAT friends in high school..He thought it was odd I had never talked about her..I started thinking about all the people in my life i have connected with who were just there for that season. And as close as we were we just kind of lost touch. How does that happen? And then how is it that other friends..well just kind of stick...and time and distance does not really effect your friendship...but Then when you reconnect with some of the close friends who have lost touch..its like well, we were such close friends that we can't really just be surfacey, but at the same time..there is So much to catch up on...Anyway..just something I have been thinking about..blah blah blah...we had dinner with friends of ours the other night who have just adopted a second baby boy from Columbia...where I was adopted from...they brought us back enough columbian coffee for a month..a really funny nativity chiva and loads of cocaine...hahaha..just kidding about that last part...hahha...i thought it was funny....anyway...Their first son Mac is so cute but very shy..He is going through that baby chubby phase..and being the funny people they are..well..they dressed him up as a big mac for halloween..and i think this picture is maybe one of the cutest i've seen.enjoy...
