We had a lot to be thankful of this year! We drove to New Jersey on Tuesday night,kitty in tow! We only hit about 2 minutes of an ice storm in our rented Hyundai Accent!! Our car was PACKED full of laundry...and with the kitty we looked like we were moving in! On Thursday morning I set it up. Caroline found white specks on the front of the sculpture’s jacket. It had only been up for 20 minuets and I did not know what was going on. Then I thought it might be the light I had shinning on it, curing the fresh plaster. I had not let the plaster dry enough before I painted it…whops! So I brought it back out to the car and touched it up, and displayed it without a light. At the end of the night it had some more white dots... Although it has gotten cold and grey in the past couple of days. We have been quite busy lately with work and our various activities. I got somewhat of a promotion at my job this past week. I will be working another 10 hours a week on the abstinence portion of the center. I will be getting pastors and youth pastors to partner with New Hope in learning how to teach sexual abistenance to young people in their churches.
